RINGETTE WOULDN’T HAPPEN WITHOUT OUR VOLUNTEERS
While we thank our coaches, managers, trainers, minor officials and more for helping to maintain play on the ice, there are many behind-the-scenes responsibilities to maintain a strong organization and for this we thank our dedicated RHRA members of the executive and the board!
Now we are looking for YOUR support to ensure the future success of this high-quality organization.
Due to players aging out of our programs and their respective parents stepping back from Board, the RHRA currently has the below open positions, if interested please email admin@rhringette.com for more information:
Responsibilities: As the highest-ranking executive manager of the association, the primary duties include managing the overall resources and operations of RHRA, making major association decisions, and acting as the main point of contact between the board and Ringette Ontario. Attend RHRA & RO virtual meetings.
Responsibilities: RHRA provincial representative with the GLRL, maintaining communication between the two groups to ensure the positions of the RHRA board are heard by the GLRL; Assist with RHRA provincial team coordination activities; Attend RHRA & GLRL virtual meetings.
Responsibilities: Work with FUN Program Director to coordinate early-year play for RHRA membership, including on-ice volunteer coordination and Come Try Ringette promotion. Attend RHRA virtual meetings.
Responsibilities: Help to coordinate the lending of RHRA equipment to FUN group participants and collect at end of season (shared with other volunteers)
Responsibilities: Work with the RHRA Board to plan the required ice for RHRA season and tournament games; Coordinate the ice requests and permits with the Town of Richmond Hill; distribute unused ice
Responsibilities: Manage tournament registrations from teams; Act as liaison with RHRA Admin for tournament payments; Work with Score2Stats and G&T Regional Coordinator on administrative coordination; Coordinate the signing of contracts and commission payments with tournament hotels and act as liaison between hotels and participating teams.
Responsibilities: Coordinate with volunteers to ensure minor officiating for the RHRA is in place for the RHRA home tournament, including Score-keeping, Time-keeping and Shot-clock.
Responsibilities: Beginning and end of season responsibilities; Coordinate the distribution of jerseys to team managers in the fall and collection of jerseys in the spring; Take stock of supply and jersey condition and work with RHRA executive to ensure the necessary replacement / replenishment of jerseys are ordered for the following season.
