About Our Association
The
Richmond Hill Ringette Association (RHRA) was founded in 1981, in
the city of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Our association is a
not-for-profit organization, run by enthusiastic volunteers. Our
goal is to promote the sport of Ringette, an on-ice team sport
designed especially for girls. The association is the home of
Richmond Hill Lightning, and has a membership of about 220 players,
ranging from age 6 to 18.
We
rely heavily on sponsors to help fund the program. This funding
assists with a variety of things, including subsidizing families
that cannot afford the fees, and the acquisition of required jerseys
and equipment.
Each year we host a very large tournament, bringing over a thousand
people to Richmond Hill, and we encourage these visitors to frequent
our sponsors where appropriate.
This sponsorship proposal provides the opportunity for your
organization to give back to the community and be recognized for
your involvement. In many cases, it can provide a very good
business opportunity for your company.
Thank you for your consideration of our Association; the kids,
parents and volunteers all really appreciate your support.
