Programs

  • Come Try Ringette (CTR)
    A Free Event • Play & learn with kids your own age • Planned program led by qualified instructors • Safe environment • Fun off-ice activities
     
  • Introduction To Ringette
    Come and give ringette a try. The Introduction To Ringette program offers a 10-week introduction to ringette for beginner skaters.
     
  • Skill Development
    The 20 week session Skills Development program is designed for girls who have learned to skate are now ready to learn the skills required to play the game along with the rules.
     
  • House League
    The House League runs once a week from October until March and offers girls an opportunity to play ringette in a local recreational program.
     
  • Open Recreational
    These recreational sessions are designed for women (20+ years of age) and are held Saturday evenings out of Tom Graham Arena.
     
  • Regional B & C
    Plays in the Ontario Central Region Ringette League OCRRL .  The teams play in the Southern Region Regional Championships at the end of the season
     
  • Provincial A & AA
    Plays in the Central Ontario Ringette League CORL which includes teams from Oshawa to Niagara Falls.  Plays in the Provincial A and Provincial AA championships, usually during the March school break.

  • Skills Clinics:
    • Summer Ringette Camp
      Get a fast and exciting start to the Ringette Season at the Richmond Hill Ringette Association's Summer Camp run by the Richmond Hill Lightning Open AA NRL players.
       
    • Fall Skills Clinic
      Continue the preparation for the upcoming season by participating in the RHRA's Fall Skills Clinic run by the Richmond Hill Lightning Open AA NRL players.
       
  • Spring Ringette
  • Goalie Clinic
    Calling all Richmond Hill goalies and budding goalies, or girls who just want to give goaltending a try.
     
  • Equipment Lending Program
    The RHRA Equipment Lending program has been made available thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation. It is a program that we hope will encourage many families to participate in the exciting sport of Ringette in Richmond Hill

  • Fundraising Sales
    The RHRA from time to time engages in sales effort to help raise funds for the Association. Take a look at what is being currently offered.
